TSRDC CET 2023

Eligibility to appear for TSRDC CET:

  1. Students appearing in the Senior Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education in March/April-2023 or its equivalent examination of Intermediate of Telangana are only eligible to appear in the examination subject to other conditions. Students appearing in Intermediate Tatkal examinations in 2023 are not eligible for admission.
  2. They should have passed the qualifying examination in one and first attempt of IPE-March 2023 and obtained 50% marks (5% relaxation in minimum percentage in case of SC/ ST/ BC) in English subject and 40% marks in English subject. Altogether.
  3. All students irrespective of subjects studied in Intermediate for BA are eligible. But they will have to take an entrance exam in History, Economics and Civics
  4. B.Com students of CEC or any other group are eligible. But they have to give entrance test in Economics, Commerce-I, Commerce-II. e) For B.Sc courses the students must have studied relevant subjects at Intermediate level.

Scheme and Syllabus for Common Entrance Test:

  • The examination in the subjects mentioned in Table II(A) and IV will be held in one session of two and a half hours duration.
  • The Common Entrance Test will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm.
  • The exam will be conducted for a total of 150 marks. There will be three papers of 40 marks in each subject and English paper of 30 marks. English paper is common for all.
  • The examination will be conducted on the Intermediate Syllabus (Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad) for group subjects.
  • The questions will be in English and Telugu medium and will be objective type multiple choice questions. Answers should be marked on the OMR sheet.
  • No negative marks for wrong answer.
  • All answer circles should be completely and thickly shaded for correct result.

Seat Reservation:

  1. Reservation of seats is as per Govt. Orders issued from time to time.
  2. Children of employees working in TREI Society Institutions at Nagarjunasagar are not eligible for these local seats as there is a special provision for their admission as per the resolution of the Board of Governors.

Reservation of seats for special categories:

  1. NCC
  2. Sports & Games
  3. Physically Handicapped
  4. Ex-Servicemen in case of admission under these categories.

a) For NCC – Senior Division ‘B’ Certificate.

b) For Sports Quota – Participation Certificate of District and above level.

c) For PHC Quota – Medical Certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon. The minimum disability is 40%.

d) Children in Armed Personnel Quota – Relevant Certificate from Competent Authority.

How to Apply Online for TSRDC CET 2023

  • All eligible students need to enter the steps to be followed for submission of application through online mode http://tsrjdc.cgg.gov.in/ (for Telangana students) ‘Online’.
  • Candidate must first check the information bulletin carefully and fulfill their eligibility for appearing in RDC-CET 2023.
  • To submit the application through Online after the candidate has satisfied himself/herself about the eligibility criteria, he/she has to pay a fee of Rs.150.00 through TSONLINE or mee-Seva to submit the application through Online.
  • At TSONLINE or Me-Seva Kendra, the candidate will be required to provide the required basic data (i.e. candidate’s name, date of birth and mobile phone number).
  • After receiving the fee in TS Online or Me-Sewa, the candidate will be issued a Journal Number with which he/she can submit the online application through the website http://tsrjdc.cgg.gov.in/ (for Telangana) may continue. students) issue of Journal Number means that the candidate is not the same as completing this online application.   • Before submitting the Online Application Form, the candidate should fill the Model Application Form (given at Annexure-1)
  • Candidates should follow the procedure for submission of Online Application as given in the ‘Information Bulletin’ and also follow the instructions given online while filling the Online Application Form. Candidate should be ready with 3.5 X 4.5 cm size photograph before filling the online application. Upload the scanned photograph along with the application form.
  • The candidate has to select the course while filling the online application. Once a course is selected, it cannot be changed. (See Table XI for selected courses)
  • Candidates should mention the names of the colleges seeking admission in the order of priority in the eligible colleges.
  • After submitting the application online, the candidate should take a copy (print) of the application form which also contains the reference number. This reference number is required to download the hall ticket. Retain a copy of the online application for further reference.
  • The candidate is solely responsible for any error/misinformation. So, they should be very careful while filling the online application.
  • Ineligible applications will be summarily rejected
  • The selected candidate should be able to produce the original certificates at the time of admission as proof of the information furnished in the application.
  • Failure to submit the required documents at the time of admission will lead to summarily rejection of the candidate’s selection.

General Information:

  • Admission is for men only.
  • Mere appearance in the entrance test does not confer any right for admission. Applicants must also meet other admission criteria set by the TREI Society.
  • The administration reserves the right to make changes in the rules to be followed as per the instructions given by the government and the university from time to time.
  • Candidates will be personally responsible for any wrong information in the application form.
  • The Convenor reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage if the particulars provided by the candidate are incorrect or against the rules of admission.

Selection Process for TSRDC CET 2023:

Students will be selected on the basis of merit list in entrance test, community reservation, local area, special category. The selection of the students will be based on the following:

  • Merit in Entrance Test
  • Choice (i.e. choice of college and choice of course)

  • In the event of a tie between candidates having equal marks in the entrance test, the order of merit will be determined as follows:

Higher marks obtained by the candidate in Economics and Civics for Arts course, Commerce and Economics for Commerce and allied courses, Mathematics and Physics for MPC and allied courses. ii. in Biology and Physics for Life Sciences and allied courses. Courses Offered: 

The candidate is requested to select any one course as per eligibility in the qualifying examination i.e. Intermediate. Common counseling for admission to TS Residential Degree College (Men) Nagarjunasagar and Silver Jubilee Government College (Men) Autonomous Kurnool will be conducted on the basis of course and university wise merit in RDC-CET. At the time of counselling, the candidate has to select the degree course of his/her choice.

  • Every admitted student has to live in the hostel affiliated to the college.
  • The examination will be conducted on the Intermediate Syllabus (Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad) for group subjects.
  • The questions will be in English and Telugu medium and will be objective type multiple choice questions.
  • Mark the answers on the OMR sheet with black ball point pen only.
  • If the candidate bubbles more than one circle then the answer is automatically invalid.
  • No negative marks for wrong answer.
  • All answer circles should be completely and thickly shaded for correct result.
  • For any correction in the shaded circles, first cross out the wrong answer and shade the correct one.
  • Computer scanners cannot capture half circles or thinly shaded circles, resulting in missed marks.

Jurisdiction of local Candidates:

  • A candidate who has studied continuously for 7 years (6th to Inter or equivalent) in any educational institution in any district of a particular university area, when he/she appeared for Inter (6th to Inter or equivalent) or its equivalent local examination Ho.
