TSMS CET 2023 or TS Model School Entrance Exam 2023 Notification by Government of Telangana, TS Model School official web portal https://telanganams.cgg.gov.in TSMS CET is released on web page by Department of Education. TS Model School Entrance Test 2023 will be conducted for admission in 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th class in Telangana Model Schools.

Applications are invited from eligible students to fill the backlog vacant seats of class 6 and class 7, 8, 9, 10 in TS Model Schools through TS Model School Entrance Test for the academic year 2023.

The last date for fee payment and submission of online application for TS Model School Entrance Test April 2023 for Class 6 and Class 7 to Class 10 vacant seats has been extended up to 15-02-2023.

The online application process for Model School Admission in Telangana State is ending on 15-03-2023. TSMSit The examinations will be held on the notified date from 10 AM to 12 Noon for Class 6 and from 10 AM to 12 Noon on the previous day for Class 7-10. There are 18 thousand seats available in 190 model schools across the state. The seats are filled on the basis of merit and reservation in TS Model School Entrance Test.

Hostels are constructed exclusively for girls in model schools. Students studying in model schools have passed in more than 90 percent result of SSC. The medium of instruction here is entirely English. Intermediate education was made available in the same model schools to the 10th passers to reduce the dropout. Coaching is provided to the students in Intermediate as well as in IIT, NEET and EAMCET.

The Model School Scheme aims at providing quality education on the Kendriya Vidyalaya template to meet the needs of educationally backward mandals. The concept of model school is basically a model school with infrastructure and facilities similar to Kendriya Vidyalayas and emphasis on student-teacher ratio, use of ICT, holistic learning environment, appropriate curriculum and outputs and outcomes.

Government has taken it as a challenge to compete with CBSE schools. The medium of instruction in model schools is entirely in English. The model schools were the brainchild of the central government and were set up in the most backward manual of the district. All the students residing from the circle or studying in a particular circle in any recognized institution are exclusively eligible for admission in model schools.

Last date for submission of online applications for Telangana Model Schools The last date for submission of online applications for vacant seats in Class VI and Class VII to X in Telangana Model Schools for the academic year 2023-23 is March 15. Application fee for this. Rs.150 for OC and EWS candidates and Rs.75 for others. Each Model School is treated as a single entity: Submission of incorrect online information will lead to cancellation of admission without any notice. Caste and date of birth certificate should be submitted to the Principal at the time of admission.

Local status of the candidate

Such students of Purva Mandal who have studied in Government/recognized school of any one of the previous two classes of Mandal, where the model school is based on the domicile (birth) of the model school, will be considered eligible for the entrance test.

Example:

For admission in class VI, a candidate must be studying in class IV or V in the circle where the model school is located. V or VI for admission in class VII, VI or VII for admission in class IX, VIII for admission in VII or VIII. In case the seats are not filled by the local students in the select list, non-locals in the select list will be considered for admission.

Students who have passed 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th class are eligible to apply for 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th (vacant seats) in Model Schools for this academic year 2023-2023. And students who have passed class 5 are eligible to apply for class 6 entrance exam. Students studying in Telugu/English medium are eligible to appear in the entrance test.

The student must have attended a government school or a school recognized by the government for two consecutive academic years in the concerned district. The income of the parents should not exceed Rs 1 lakh per annum. Candidates can apply to any Telangana Model School in their district.

For admission in class 6

For Class 6: SC/ST students born between 01.09.2007 to 31.08.2011 and (10 years to 14 years but not completed 14 years) and OC/BC/SC-converted from 01.09.2009 Should be Christian (BC-C) born between 31.08.2011. (10 years to 12 years but not completed 12 years) and

For Class 7 :

SC/ST students should be born between 01.09.2006 to 31.08.2010 and (11 years to 15 years but not completed 15 years) and OC/BC/SC-Converted Christian (BC-C) . Between 01.09.2008 to 31.08.2010. (11 years to 13 years but not completed 13 years) and

For Class 8 :

SC/ST students should be born between 01.09.2005 to 31.08.2009 and (12 years to 16 years but not completed 16 years) and OC/BC/SC- Converted Christian (BC-C) The middle should be born. 01.09.2007 to 31.08.2009.

For Class 9 :

Class VI – Candidate must have completed 10 years of age as on 31st August of the academic year in which he/she wants to take admission.
Class VII – The candidate must have completed 11 years of age as on 31st August of the academic year in which he/she seeks admission.
Class VIII – The candidate must have completed 12 years of age as on 31st August of the academic year in which he/she seeks admission.
Class IX – The candidate should have completed 13 years of age by 31st August of the academic year in which he/she wants to take admission.
Class X – Candidate must have completed 14 years of age as on 31st August of the academic year in which he/she wants to take admission.

Selection Process: / Admission Process:

Admission in classes 7 to 10 is as per the procedure followed by TSMS. While this is the case, preference will be given to the candidates of the same circle where the model school is operating. Admission is done on the basis of written test/entrance test.

BC/SC/ST students -Rs 75/-

For OC students of other routes: Rs. 150/-. The fee can be paid or paid through payment gateway.

Reservation Rules:

(I). 15% and 6% seats in each class are reserved for SC and ST candidates respectively.

(ii) 29% seats in each class shall be reserved for BCs and shall be allocated among five groups of BCs as shown below

Group – D 7%
Group – E 4%

(iii) Physically Challenged Students: 3% (among reservation group of students).33.33% seats are reserved for girls in all categories as indicated in clause 4

(vii) of GOMs.No.24 Department of Secondary Education (Prog.-II), dated 10.06.2016.

(v) If candidates belonging to a particular category are not available in sufficient numbers to fill the seats reserved for that group, the same may be filled by suitable candidates as per Clause 4(x) of the above mandate.

50% seats are for open category. Seventh. Classes VI to X have two sections of 50 each. While admitting students, classes VI to X should be taken as a unit consisting of 100 students. It has been decided to conduct online examination for admission in class VI in TS Model Schools and for the remaining seats as per the date of admission in class VII.
